SECOND DELIVERY IN A SERIES OF TEN PSVS TO ESNAAD

Eemshaven 15/12/2015 – In 2013 Esnaad awarded Shipyard De Hoop with an order for ten state-of-the-art Platform Supply Vessels. Despite the vigorous international competition, De Hoop won the prestigious contract as result of their technically advanced design and competitive terms. Whilst the complete production of the vessels is equally split between the two facilities in Lobith and Foxhol, the delivery is spread over almost two years, with the last PSV to be handed over in 2017. The second vessel YN471, named Esnaad 222, has been delivered today to Esnaad, the operating company of the ADNOC group.

Foxhol 27/11/2015 – Today, the keel was laid for the hull of the 65 meter Platform Supply Vessel for Abu Dhabi National Oil Company. The ship is the last in a series of ten and boast a true “design of the future“, meeting the highest international class notations within both operational and environmental objectives. The vessels will operate in the oil and gas fields for the operating company ESNAAD, member of the ADNOC group.

Lobith 25/11/2015 – Today, at 10:00 am, the 65 meter Platform Supply Vessel for Abu Dhabi National Oil Company was successfully launched. The Esnaad 223 is the third of a series of ten and boast a true “design of the future“, meeting the highest international class notations within both operational and environmental objectives. The vessels will operate in the oil and gas fields for the operating company ESNAAD, member of the ADNOC group.

Foxhol 13/10/2015 – Saturday, October 31 at 10:00 am, the 65 meter Platform Supply Vessel for Abu Dhabi National Oil Company, the Esnaad 224 (YN473) will be launched at our Foxhol yard. The ship is the fourth of a series of ten and boast a true “design of the future“, meeting the highest international class notations within both operational and environmental objectives. The vessels will operate in the oil and gas fields for the operating company ESNAAD, member of the ADNOC group.

START STEEL CUTTING YN479

Lobith 05/10/2015 – The official start of the steel cutting of the tenth Platform Supply Vessel for ESNAAD has commenced. Whereas the second, eight and tenth vessel shall be assembled at our Foxhol yard, the third to seventh and ninth vessel will be produced at our Lobith yard. The PSVs are part of an order of ten vessels for ESNAAD, from which the first vessel, the Esnaad 221, has already been delivered.

Lobith 25/09/2015 – The official start of the steel cutting of the ninth Platform Supply Vessel for ESNAAD has commenced. Whereas the second and eight vessel shall be assembled at our Foxhol yard, the third to seventh and ninth vessel will be produced at our Lobith yard. The PSVs are part of an order of ten vessels for ESNAAD, from which the first vessel, the Esnaad 221, has already been delivered.

BUSY TIMES AT SHIPYARD DE HOOP

Lobith 23/09/2015 – These are busy times for De Hoop, as can be seen on the photo the Lobith yard has two PSV\’s for Abu Dhabi on the slipway, plus the hull of the 135 river cruise vessel for Lueftner Reisen is taking shape. Furthermore the yard in Lobith is finishing two FSIV\’s. The Foxhol yard is also very busy with three more PSV\’s being build in various stages.

KARINA ONE OF THREE FINALISTS OF VESSEL OF THE YEAR 2015

Tolkamer, 24/08/2015 – Shipyard De Hoop is proud to announce that the hybrid fast supply intervention vessel Karina is nominated as one of the three finalists for the KNVTS Vessel of the year award 2015. Alongside Karina, the other nominations are Kroonborg, a Walk-to-Work vessel built by Koninklijke Niestern Sander and Equanimity, a 91.5 meters yacht built by Oceanco. The award will be handed out at the Maritime Awards Gala on 2 November at the former submarine hangar, which has been converted into an event location by the port of Rotterdam.

KEEL LAID FOR LUEFTNER REISEN (YN468)

Tolkamer 18/08/2015 – Today the keel has been laid for the new river cruise vessel for Lueftner Reisen. The 135 meter ship will be built under yard number 468 and is scheduled for delivery for next year’s season. The ship is the 12th ship build by De Hoop for Lueftner Reisen and will be an addition to the earlier series of Amadeus Silver and Amadeus Silver II.

Foxhol 14/08/2015 – Today, the keel was laid for the hull of the 65 meter Platform Supply Vessel for Abu Dhabi National Oil Company. The ship is the sixth of a series of ten and boast a true “design of the future“, meeting the highest international class notations within both operational and environmental objectives. The vessels will operate in the oil and gas fields for the operating company ESNAAD, member of the ADNOC group.

Lobith 20/07/2015 – The official start of the steel cutting of the seventh Platform Supply Vessel for ESNAAD has commenced. Whereas the second vessel shall be assembled at our Foxhol yard, the third, fourth, fifth, sixth and seventh vessel will be produced at our Lobith yard. The PSVs are part of an order of ten vessels for ESNAAD, from which the first vessel, the Esnaad 22, has already been delivered.

The first vessel with YN 470, named Esnaad 221, was delivered to Esnaad, the operating company of the ADNOC group, on the 15th of July 2015. In the meantime, the hull of the second vessel has been launched in Foxhol, whilst the steel hull of the fourth PSV is currently being assembled on their slipway. At the Lobith facilities, the hull of the third vessel is ready to be launched, whereas the block sections of hull number five are being assembled on their second slipway. Furthermore, the steel cutting and construction of the first block sections for the sixth vessel is at an advanced stage.

The vessels will operate in the oil and gas fields for the operating company ESNAAD, member of the ADNOC group.

SATURDAY, JULY 4TH 11:00 AM LAUNCH OF ESNAAD 222

Foxhol 03/07/2015 – Saturday, July 4th at 11:00 am, the 65 meter Platform Supply Vessel for Abu Dhabi National Oil Company, the Esnaad 222 (YN471) will be launched at our Foxhol yard. The ship is the second of a series of ten and boast a true “design of the future“, meeting the highest international class notations within both operational and environmental objectives. The vessels will operate in the oil and gas fields for the operating company ESNAAD, member of the ADNOC group.

START STEEL CUTTING YN468

Lobith 16/06/2015 – The official start of the steel cutting of the new build vessel for Lueftner Reisen has commenced. The 135 meter River Cruise Vessel is based on the successful development and delivery of the Amadeus Silver II, yard number 461. YN468 is the 12th vessel for Lueftner Reisen and is scheduled for delivery in the first half of 2016.
