DESIGN HYBRID FSIV AWARDED DISTINCTIVE VESSEL OF 2014
Tolkamer 19/1/2015 – Shipyard De Hoop’s Fast Supply Intervention Vessel, equipped with Hull Vane, received one of Marinelog’s Annual Distinctive Vessel of the Year Awards. NEW RIVER CRUISE DESIGNS OF DE HOOP RECEIVED AWARD
Tolkamer 14/1/2015 – We are proud to announce that the two ‘Shipyard De Hoop’ designs Emerald Sky and Emerald Star (our yard numbers 462 and 464) have been selected by the Cruise Critic Editors as “Best New River Ships” of 2014. The Cruise Critic Editor’s Picks awards are chosen by their team of editors. They state “Emerald Star and Emerald Sky are like nothing else on the rivers. Decor is straight-up modern and bright, and innovations, such as a pool with retractable roof, are a breath of fresh air. Smartly priced and inclusive enough to appeal to first-time or younger cruisers as well as seasoned travelers, Emerald’s new ships have an easygoing vibe and casual elegance.”
SUCCESSFULL LAUNCH OF PRINCE JOB I (YN450)
Tolkamer 31/12/2014 – Today, at 10:00 am, Prince Job I, a 68 meter OSV for Awaritse Nigeria Limited (ANL), was successfully launched. The vessel is designed to operate in the Chevron offshore oil fields near Nigeria. Delivery is scheduled for the first quarter of 2015.
NOMINATION NATIONAL BUSINESS SUCCESS AWARD 2014
Tolkamer 18/12/2014 – Shipyard De Hoop has been nominated for the prestigious National Business Success Award 2014. The Successfactor is a program of RTL7, in which the most successful business formula of best companies in the industry has been presented. The crew of RTL7 has been on the yard for several interviews with the board of directors and to film the inspiring process of designing and building vessels. The TV broadcast will be on RTL7 on Sunday, December 21 at 13:00 hours and Saturday, December 27 at 12.30 hours.
FIRST PSV FOR ESNAAD TAKING SHAPE
Foxhol 16/12/2014 – The sections of our yard number 470 are assembled, over 70 meter of hull is standing on the slipway, the engines and thruster units are placed and so are the electric switchboards and many other key components and pieces of equipment. This means that the first vessel of a series of 10 PSV’s is taking shape. Build activities are in full swing and every day more workers join on board. With the keel of the second ship just laid and the steelcutting of the third ship started, the programme is now in full swing.
DE HOOP DELIVERS DELTA ADMIRAL (YN460)
Tolkamer 16/12/2014 – Today, the 70 meter Platform Supply Vessel has been delivered to our Trinidad client Delta Logistics Limited. This vessel heralds the next generation of De Hoop PSV’s. The deep-water capable vessel left The Netherlands for its journey to the Caribbean Sea, where it will operate in the offshore fields near Trinidad and Tobago.
KEEL LAID FOR ESNAAD (YN471)
Foxhol 12/12/2014 – Today, the keel was laid for the hull of the 65 meter Platform Supply Vessel for Abu Dhabi National Oil Company. The ship is the second of a series of ten and boast a true “design of the future“, meeting the highest international class notations within both operational and environmental objectives. The vessels will operate in the oil and gas fields for the operating company ESNAAD, member of the ADNOC group.
SHIPYARD DE HOOP CELEBRATES 125 YEARS ANNIVERSARY
Zwolle 12/12/2014 – Today, Shipyard De Hoop celebrated her 125 years anniversary in theatre De Spiegel in Zwolle. Alma Nieto opened the evening with a beautiful yard song, followed by a table talk with the board of directors. During the evening, the guests could enjoy international finger food, while listening and dancing at Radio Acoustic and Tommy Thompson. The evening ended with a spectacular laser show about the history of the yard.
START STEEL CUTTING YN472
Lobith 12/11/2014 – The official start of the steel cutting of the third Platform Supply Vessel for ESNAAD has commenced. Whereas the first and second vessel shall be assembled in our Foxhol yard, this third vessel will be assembled in our Lobith yard. These vessels are part of the 10 PSV order from ESNAAD.
HULL FOR YN470 RECEIVES DRY BULK TANKS
Foxhol 12/11/2014 – The separate tanks for the dry bulk system are placed in the partially finished hull for Yard Number 470. The vessel is under construction at our yard in Foxhol.
HULL OF NEW AMADEUS VESSEL TAKING SHAPE
Lobith 11/11 /2014 – The hull assembly of the new 135 meter river cruise vessel (YN461) is on full speed, in the last few weeks many sections where placed and at this moment already over 100meter hull is assembled on the slipway at our yard in Lobith Tolkamer.
DELTA ADMIRAL COMPLETES SEATRIALS
Rotterdam 6/11/2014 – The vessel Delta Admiral, our yard number 460, has finished her seatrials successfully. The seatrials commenced on last Saturday and it took 4 days to complete the entire programm. During the trials the vessel has shown a excellent performance, it reached a speed of 13 knots and even did over 12 knots backwards! These figures show not only the optimised hull-shape works, but also the DP capabilities where well within the requested parameters. In the next weeks the vessel shall be finalised and made ready for her maiden trip to Trinidad.
DELTA ADMIRAL (YN460) DEPARTED FOR SEATRIALS
Lobith 20/10/14 – This morning, the Delta Admiral, our yard number 460, has departed from the yard to Rotterdam. This 70m. next generation PSV is under construction for Delta Logistics from Trinidad. This week the wheelhouse, that was removed for the transport, shall be refitted and next week the vessel shall commence her seatrials.

Tolkamer 16/09/2014 – Today, Shipyard De Hoop started the production of the second Platform Supply Vessel for Abu Dhabi National Oil Company. The ship (65 x 15,8 m) is part of a series of ten and boast a true “design of the future”, meeting the highest international class notations within both operational and environmental objectives. The vessels will operate in the oil and gas fields for the operating company ESNAAD, member of the ADNOC group. Delivery is scheduled within 2015 and 2016.
TRANSPORT SECTION YN470 ADNOC
Foxhol 16/09/2014 – Today, the last section of the Platform Supply Vessel for Abu Dhabi National Oil Company has been transported from Pattje to our Foxhol yard, where the vessel will be further produced. The 65 x 15,8 m ship is the first one is a series of ten. Launch is scheduled for the fourth quarter of this year.
HULL COMPLETED OF OSV FOR ANL (YN450)
Tolkamer 09/09/14 – The hull for the 68.23 meter OSV for Awaritse Nigeria Limited has been completed. The vessel is designed to operate in the Chevron offshore oilfields near Nigeria and is scheduled to be launched in November this year.
AMADEUS SILVER II (YN461) WELL ON ITS WAY
Tolkamer 10/09/14 – The section building and assembly for the 135 meter River Cruise Vessel Amadeus Silver II is well on its way. The Amadeus Silver II is the 11th vessel, build for Lueftner Reisen, and is scheduled for delivery in April 2015.

Tolkamer 08/09/14 – The production of the 70 meter PSV, the Delta Admiral, for Delta Logistics is in full swing. The deep-water capable vessel will operate in the offshore fields near Trinidad and Tobago in the Caribbean Sea. The delivery of the vessel is scheduled for October this year.

FSIV (YN455) STARTS SEATRIALS
Lobith 04/07/14 – Today, the first 55 metre Fast Supply Intervention Vessel has departed our Lobith yard in the direction of the Noordzee. During the week, the sea trials will take place at the Hollands Diep, Haringvliet and Noordzee. This ship is the first one in a series of seven, whereby five vessels will be completed before the end of July 2014.
