Lobith 20/07/2015 – The official start of the steel cutting of the seventh Platform Supply Vessel for ESNAAD has commenced. Whereas the second vessel shall be assembled at our Foxhol yard, the third, fourth, fifth, sixth and seventh vessel will be produced at our Lobith yard. The PSVs are part of an order of ten vessels for ESNAAD, from which the first vessel, the Esnaad 22, has already been delivered.
Eemshaven 15/07/2015 – In 2013 Esnaad awarded Shipyard De Hoop with an order for ten state-of-the-art Platform Supply Vessels. Despite the vigorous international competition, De Hoop won the prestigious contract as result of their technically advanced design and competitive terms. Whilst the complete production of the vessels is equally split between the two facilities in Lobith and Foxhol, the delivery is spread over almost two years, with the last PSV to be handed over in 2017. The first vessel with YN 470, named Esnaad 221, was delivered to Esnaad, the operating company of the ADNOC group, on the 15th of July 2015. In the meantime, the hull of the second vessel has been launched in Foxhol, whilst the steel hull of the fourth PSV is currently being assembled on their slipway. At the Lobith facilities, the hull of the third vessel is ready to be launched, whereas the block sections of hull number five are being assembled on their second slipway. Furthermore, the steel cutting and construction of the first block sections for the sixth vessel is at an advanced stage.
Foxhol 04/07/2015 – Today, at 11:00 am, the 65 meter Platform Supply Vessel for Abu Dhabi National Oil Company was successfully launched. The Esnaad 222 is the second of a series of ten and boast a true “design of the future“, meeting the highest international class notations within both operational and environmental objectives. The vessels will operate in the oil and gas fields for the operating company ESNAAD, member of the ADNOC group.
Foxhol 03/07/2015 – Saturday, July 4th at 11:00 am, the 65 meter Platform Supply Vessel for Abu Dhabi National Oil Company, the Esnaad 222 (YN471) will be launched at our Foxhol yard. Lobith 16/06/2015 – The official start of the steel cutting of the new build vessel for Lueftner Reisen has commenced. The 135 meter River Cruise Vessel is based on the successful development and delivery of the Amadeus Silver II, yard number 461. YN468 is the 12th vessel for Lueftner Reisen and is scheduled for delivery in the first half of 2016.

Lobith 26/05/2015 – Today, the tv broadcast has been recorded at our Lobith yard for the program ‘Trots op Gelderland’, a program of ‘Omroep Gelderland’ about innovative companies in the province of Gelderland. The TV broadcast will be on Wednesday, June 10 at 18:20 hours and will be repeated every hour. The day after, the program can also be watched on the internet: www.gld.nl.
Foxhol 22/05/2015 – Last Friday, the 65 meter Platform Supply Vessel for Abu Dhabi National Oil Company has been transported from our yard in Foxhol to the Eemshaven, a real logistic challenge as there were only a few centimeters between the vessel and the bridge. This week, the vessel will be made ready for sea trials, which will start the week after.
Lobith 19/05/2015 – Shipyard De Hoop is proud to announce, once again, a new build contract for Lueftner Reisen. The 135 meter River Cruise Vessel is based on the successful development and delivery of the Amadeus Silver II, yard number 461. Foxhol 25/04/2015 – The 65 meter Platform Supply Vessel for Abu Dhabi National Oil Company started up with commissioning at our Foxhol yard. The YN470 is the first vessel of a series of ten. At the meantime, the hull of YN471, the second vessel, has been completed. The Esnaad vessels boast a true “design of the future“, meeting the highest international class notations within both operational and environmental objectives.
Tolkamer, 22/04/2015 – Today, Lueftner Cruises christened the Amadeus Silver II (YN461) at our Lobith yard as the newest addition of their cruising fleet. Crew, invited guests, first passengers and employees of the yard, all witnessed the christening of this 11th vessel for Lueftner Reisen. Godmother mrs. Corine Lueftner specially thanked her family, the staff, the shipyard, subcontractors and suppliers for the beautiful end result. After the celebrations the vessel took immediately off for her first official voyage to Amsterdam.
Tolkamer 10/04/2015 – Today the 135 meter river cruise vessel Amadeus Silver II, our yard number 461, has successfully completed her official river trials. The Amadeus Silver II is the 11th vessel, build for Lueftner Reisen. Wednesday, April 22 next, the Christening of the vessel will take place at our Lobith yard. A day after the ceremony, the vessel goes straight into service and will operate for the entire season in Europe, mainly on the rivers Rhine and Danube.

Rotterdam 27/03/2015 – Today, our 68 meter OSV has been delivered to Awaritse Nigeria Limited (ANL). The vessel has been designed and built to operate in the Chevron offshore oil fields near Nigeria. The Intermix / Transmix vessel will leave the Rotterdam harbour next week for its journey to Nigeria.
