Noordhoek Pathfinder departs from yard
Foxhol, 12/3/2010 – The vessel Noordhoek Pathfinder (newbuild number 438) has today left our yard in Foxhol. Next week she will commence her trial program starting from the Delfzijl harbour.
Launch of Amadeus Elegant
Tolkamer, 1/3/2010 – Today the 110 meter river cruise vessel Amadeus Elegant was sucessfully launched from the newly created slipway in Tolkamer. The sunny weather really coplemented this day and due to the high water level on the river, the launch of the vessel was very “elegant”.
Again new order for De Hoop
Tolkamer, 19/2/2010 – For the second time this week De Hoop is proudly announcing a new order. Luxury cruising company “Uniworld” has ordered a five star river cruise vessel (135×11.40) with a new design and some special features. The vessel is planned for delivery next year. De Hoop scores new order
Tolkamer, 15/02/2010 – Shipyard De Hoop is proud to announce a new order from shipowner Royal Wagenborg. This time the yard shall build a 135 meter, three layer, 440 persons accomodation barge with ice class 1B. The barge is scheduled for delivery later this year.
Amado Daniel departs from yard
Tolkamer, 22/01/2010 – This morning, at 4:00 AM the 105 meter diving support vessel “Amado Daniel” has left the yard in Tolkamer to go to Rotterdam. As many larger ships build on this yard, it was this time also necessary to take of the wheelhouse so the vessel would be able to pass the bridges. The vessel now goes to our fitting out quay in Rotterdam where it will undergo the final stages of the build, before going to seatrials.
Caballo Siete Leguas outside
Foxhol, 10/01/2010 – The 67 meter PSV named Caballo Siete Leguas, our yardnumber 431, has been moved outside. The complete hull (all sections) is on the slipway where the final assembly of the vessel is taking place, making it ready for launching.
Amadeus Elegant under construction
Tolkamer, 29/12/2009 – The section block assembly of the 110 meter river cruise vessel Amadeus Elegant is well on its way. All but the last section blocks are assembled on the slibway in Tolkamer. This 8th vessel for Lueftner Reisen is scheduled for launching in Februari next year. De Hoop Lobith launches yardnumber 425 “Amado Daniel”
Lobith 9/11/2009 – On this Monday, the 105 x 24 meter Diving Support Vessel “Amado Daniel” was launched successfully. The vessel is now in our fitting out harbour for the further outfitting and installations. Please look at the PDF file for an enlarged photo.
De Hoop Foxhol launches Noordhoek Pathfinder
Foxhol 7/11/2009 – This Saturday the vessel Noordhoek Pathfinder was first christened and then launched at exactly 11 AM at our yard in Foxhol. The ceremony was celebrated by all related companies to this project and also to the project “Noordhoek Constructor”: Noordhoek Offshore, Hanzevast Shipping, Seatec, Shipyard De Hoop, Niigata Shipyards. Noordhoek Pathfinder ready for launching
Foxhol 2/11/2009 – The 60 meter vessel “Noordhoek Pathfinder” shall be launched this Saturday (7/11/2009), 11 AM at our yard in Foxhol. On this day, the yard shall partially be open for all people who are interested to watch the launch.
Keel laid for river cruise vessel ‘Amadeus Elegant’
Tolkamer 15/10/2009 – With the keellaying for yardnumber 439, the Amadeus Elegant, the build has started for yet another vessel at Shipyard De Hoop Lobith. The Amadeus Elegant is the 8th vessel De Hoop is building for Lueftner Reisen. Caballo As De Oros on seatrials
Delfzijl, 12/10/2009 – After being transported from the yard (Foxhol) to Delfzijl last Friday, the vessel ‘Caballo As De Oros’ today had her first day out. The seatrials are expected to be finalized this week and after this the vessel will be ready for delivery and departure to the Mexican waters. Please look at the PDF file for some more photos.
VERDI delivered
Tolkamer, 09/10/2009 – Today, exactly 4 months after signing contract, the newbuild Accomodation Vessel VERDI has been delivered. The vessel is build for ROBORG (Wagenborg) and is intended to depart for Kazachstan after the weekend. Please look at the PDF file for an enlarged picture.
Busy times in Foxhol
Foxhol 8/10/2009 – These are busy times at our yard in Foxhol. Currenly the yard is working on five different vessels! The platform supply vessel with yardnumber 430 is about to leave for her seatrials. All other vessels are in various stages of production. Noordhoek Pathfinder assembled
Foxhol, 29/09/2009 – During the last few days the last sections of the Noordhoek Pathfinder where placed at the De Hoop Foxhol. The vessel is really getting shape now and planning is well on time. Currenty the Foxhol yard is very busy as the organisation works on five different projects simultaniously. Please look at the PDF file for more photos of the assembly.

New shipbuilding contract for De Hoop
Tolkamer 24/07/2009 – De Hoop proudly announces that her client Lueftner Reisen has again ordered a newbuild River Cruise Vessel from De Hoop. The 110 meter vessel is the 8th order from Lueftner Reisen. Earlier this year the Amadeus Diamond was delivered and the new concept now proofs to be successfull. The new vessel shall be build under yardnumber 439 and is scheduled for delivery in 2010.
Second conversion for Wagenborg/Chevalier Floatels delivered
Tolkamer 16/07/2009 – The second conversion after Debussy, the converted 110 meter “Ravel”, was delevered today. This time the conversion included a full ‘winterization’ of the vessel. With this the vessel is suitable for the harsh conditions of the northern region of the Caspian Sea, where temperatures can drop to minus 40 degrees. The works included extra facilities and systems an ice-belt all around which makes the hull “ice-class 1B”.
DSV Niiagata yard in full production
Niigata, 06/07/2009 – A 70 meter Diving Support Vessel is currently in full production on the Niigata shipyard in Japan. The vessel is being build for Dutch shipowner Hanzevast and has been engineered by De Hoop. Furthermore, De Hoop has supplied most equipment for this hi-tech vessel. Niigata shipyard (a subsidairy of the large Mitsui corporation) has a good reputation in the build of all kind of vessels. The interfirm cooperation with De Hoop started on this project when Noordhoek Offshore did an enquiry for a newbuild DSV with De Hoop. Due to a full orderbook, De Hoop has come to an agreement with Hanzevast and Niigata to build this vessel in Japan. The vessel called “Noordhoek Constructor” is ordered by Hanzevast Shipping and shall be chartered out to Noordhoek Offshore for works in the North Sea. Caballo as de Oros successfully launched
Foxhol, 27/06/2009 – Today at 10 AM the latest newbuild at De Hoop Foxhol has been succesfully launched. This 67 meter Platform Supply Vessel with yard number 430 – Caballo as de Oros – is build for Oceanografia SA, de CV. It is the first of a series of 2 similar vessels. The vessel is planned for delivery later this year and shall, upon arrival in Mexico, start working for Pemex.
