Keel laid for daypassenger vessel Yardnumber 442

Lobith, 29/12/2010 – Today the keel is laid for the new designed day passenger vessel which Shipyard De Hoop is building for German shipowner KD. This special vessel with 1000 person capacity vessel is planned for delivery second quarter next year.

Hull for Amadeus Brilliant transported to Lobith

Foxhol, 19/12/10 – The hull for Amadeus Brilliant has departed the Foxhol yard. This special transport is now heading (through the ice) to our Lobith yard where the vessel shall be outfited and finished. This will take place alongside the outfitting of the 135 meter S.S. Antoinette.

De Hoop Foxhol launches Amadeus Brilliant

Foxhol, 18/12/2010 – At 10 AM this morning Shipyard De Hoop Foxhol has launched the hull of the 110 meter river cruise vessel Amadeus Brilliant. This was exactly as per original planning. The vessel, build under hull number 443 is the 9th Amadeus vessel that De Hoop is building for client Luefner Reisen. The hull shall now be transported to the Lobith yard for the outfitting and finishing. Please look at the attached PDF file for an enlarged picture.

Two special hulls under construction in Lobith

Tolkamer, 1/12/2010 – On a snowy slipway in Lobith-Tolkamer, two special hulls are nearing readiness to be launched. On the back, 105 meter hull ‘Don Daniel’ is the 3rd Diving Support Vessel with 250 persons accomodation for Oceanografia. The 135 meter hull on the front is for the ‘River Antoinette’, a very luxury inland cruise vessel. The launch of the River Antoinette (for client Uniworld) is planned before the end of this year. In the meantime the yard is building sections for the newbuild daypassenger vessel for KD which will be assembled on a third slipway.

Hull for Amadeus Brilliant on slipway

Foxhol, 22/11/10 – The 110 meter hull for the vessel Amadeus Brilliant is being fitted out on the slipway at our yard in Foxhol. The vessel is on planning to be launched in December.

Caballo Siete Leguas departs to Mexico

Delfzijl 25/10/2010 – Today, at 21:00 hour, the Offshore Supply Vessel “Caballo Siete Leguas” (our yard number 431) has departed the Delfzijl harbour to do her maiden-voyage to Mexico. On its arrival in the Mexican Gulf the vessel shall start her works for PEMEX, the Mexican national oil company. Please look at the PDF file for technical details of this vessel.

Amadeus Brilliant making progress

Foxhol, 23/09/2010 – The hull for yardnumber 443 (the Amadeus Brilliant) is making good progress. The partially assembled hull has been moved outside at the Foxhol yard to make space for the next blocks. All section-blocks are now in full production. The complete hull is scheduled to be launched around the end of this year.

De Hoop delivers 440 pax. Rossini

Tolkamer, 19/07/2010 – Shipyard De Hoop has delivered Wagenborg’s largest LQB (living quarter barge) so far. The 135 meter “Rossini” is designed to accomodate 440 people in 4 person cabins. Yardnumber 429 making progress

Tolkamer, 19/07/2010 – De Hoop’s yardnumber 429, the third Diving Support Vessel of the latest 105 x 24 meter design (sister vessel of Don Amado and Amado Daniel) is currently in its assembly stages on our yard in Lobith-Tolkamer. Keel for “Amadeus Brilliant’ laid in Foxhol

Foxhol, 12/07/2010 – With the placement of the first section block the keel has been laid for yardnumber 443 the ‘Amadeus Brilliant’. This 110 x 11,4 meter river cruise vessel is the 9th vessel Shipyard De Hoop builds for Lueftner Reisen. This time it shall occupy both our yards as hull shall be build at De Hoop Foxhol and fitting out and finishing shall be done by De Hoop Lobith.

Amado Daniel leaves for Mexico

Rotterdam 6/7/2010 – At 19:00 pm the 105 meter diving support vessel “Amado Daniel” has departed to Mexico. Upon arrival the vessel shall, together with her sister vessel Don Amado commence in a new contract for the Mexican state oilcompany Pemex. Tolkamer, 1/7/2010 – Today the keel was laid for the luxury and innovative 135 meter river cruise vessel. The River Antoinette is build as yard number 441 at shipyard De Hoop Lobith. This complete new vessel is designed to set a new standard. The keellaying ceremony was performed on a beautiful sunny day and we hope this shall reflect in the endresult.

Yardnumber 431 finishes seatrials in record time

Delfzijl, 9/6/2010 – In a record time of less than two days the next generation PSV “Caballo Siete Leguas” has finished her seatrials. The vessel shall now be prepaired for her delivery and trip to Mexico/Cuidad del Carmen.

De Hoop designed Noordhoek Constructor finishes seatrials

North Sea 8/6/2010 – Shipowner Noordhoek Offshore and financer Hanzevast Shipping proudly anounce that the vessel Noordhoek Constructor has successfully completed her seatrials. The vessel Noordhoek constructor was designed and engineered by De Hoop, build at Niigata Shipyard in Japan and De Hoop has delivered the majority of all components and installations. Both yards, and clients, look back at a succesful interfirm cooperation and De Hoop is proud of the result.

De Hoop raises KD flag for new order

Tolkamer, 7/6/2010 – The german cruising company Koln Dusseldorfer Rheinschiffahrt AG (KD) has ordered a 1000 pax. event and day-passenger vessel from De Hoop. With this KD has again shown her trust in Shipyard De Hoop, the company has been a returning customer for many years. After the delivery of the spectacular catamaran Rheinenergie in 2004, De Hoop this time has again made a complete new design. The vessel is scheduled for delivery second quarter next year. Caballo Siete Leguas ready for seatrials

Foxhol, 02/06/2010 – Today at approximately 13:00 hr, the newbuild Platform Supply Vessel “Caballo Siete Leguas” has left the Foxhol yard. Steelcutting for yardnumber 441 started.

Tolkamer, 1/6/2010 – With the start of the steelcutting for yardnumber 441, De Hoop has started the production for Uniworld / Global River Cruises. The luxury 135 meter river cruise vessel is scheduled for delivery for the season of next year.

De Hoop Foxhol starts steelcutting for new Amadeus

Tolkamer 20/05/2010 – Almost directly after taking delivery of the Amadeus Elegant, client Lueftner Reisen has placed a new order. The newbuild vessel (yard number 443) is scheduled for the season of 2011 and shall be called Amadeus Brilliant. The design shall be similar to sister vessels Amadeus Elegant (2010) and Amadeus Diamond(2009), and shall be the third design with the new folding nose concept. The hull of the vessel shall be build at De Hoop Foxhol where the steelcutting started today.

De Hoop delivers RheinFantasie

Koln, 01/5/2010 – Today Shipyard De Hoop has delivered the 85 meter eventship / daypassenger vessel RheinFantasie, our yard number 442. This vessel, with capacity for max. 1000 passengers is now ready to commence her christening ceremony on Thursday and the yearly “Rhein in Flammen” event, which starts this Saturday in Bonn. Amadeus Elegant delivered

Tolkamer, 26-04-2010 – De Hoop Lobith has today delivered the new cruisevessel Amadeus Elegant. This was celebrated by christening the vessel and doing her first maidentrip.
