New Orders

April 23, 2007 – Today, De Hoop has hoisted two more flags, which means the orders for Yard number 425 (a sister vessel of YN 424, a 105 mtr. DSV) and Yard Number 426 (a 62 mtr. OSV) are announced.

Tolkamer 27/3/2007 – Today, some 30 VMBO students visited Shipyard De Hoop. As these people shall choose their carreer in the near future, we hope some of them are interested in shipbuilding. Look at “read PDF file for more photos”.
8-3-2007 – Today Shipyard De Hoop has succesfully delivered the 125 mtr. vessel River Discovery. This vessel is the second one with the cadillac bow and the fourth vessel built for Vantage Travel. CLick on “see PDF file” for an enlarged photo.
We are proud to announce another yard number. This 105 x 24 mtr. Diving Support Vessel shall be build for the Mexican shipowner Oceanografia. The vessel shall have accomodation for 250 people and shall be equipped with a 300 ton crane.
Since her delivery, the Amadeus Princess has had quite some publicity. The vessel was recently in the “Schip & Werf” and this month she features in the “Cruise and Ferry”. Look at the PDF-file to view this article.
The vessel River Discovery (yard number 421) was launched on Saturday 7th October 2006. The slipway can now be prepaired for yard number 422…. (Look at the PDF-file for a side view after launch.
September 2006 – Because of a filled orderbook and good prospects for the near future, De Hoop currently has various job opportunities for shipbuilders (metal workers, pipefitters, welders, carpenters, crane driver, etc.) with the right mentality. See the PDF file for more information.
The combination of a roast pig (70 kg ready to go), self made boats ready to launch and nice weather turned out to be great ingedients for a family-day. We thank the organisers for their input! See the PDF FILE for some photo’s.
Rotterdam 25-07-2006, Today the ice class tugboats ISKANDER and ALPAMYS where delivered succesfully. Both Yard and Shipowner are proud of the result and look back on a succesful build period. The vessels will soon head for Kazachstan.
Tolkamer 7 July 2006 – With the flag hoisting ceremony, Shipyard De Hoop has started the works on the new Mexican order.
Today, 4th July 2006, the first tugboat YN 419, called ISKANDER for Kazachstan successfully completed her trials.
De Hoop has the pleasure to announce a new order. The new Offshore support vessel will be build under yard number 423.
Tolkamer 2/6/2006 – Today the steelcutting of yard number 422, the MPSV for Groupe Bourbon has started.
The production of yard number 421 is on full swing. The keellaying took place on last month, 12th May, and now on the 1st June already 9 sections are assembled.
10.05.2006 – Today yard number 420 was launched.
Monday 8-5-2006 – In a record time of less than 4 weeks (!) after keellaying, the ICE class push/tugboat YN420 is now ready for launch.
May 2006 – Shipyard De Hoop is proud to announce that BOURBON has ordered a new 85 m. Multi Purpose Offshore Supplier (MPSV). The vessel will have accomodation for 70 people, a 100 ton crane and will be build under yard number 422.
Monday 10-04-2006 – Today the keel of the shallow draft push/tugboat Alpamys (YN 420) was laid. Another milestone in this project has been reached.
3th April 2006 – Shipyard De Hoop is on full swing. Recently the keel was laid of the shallow draft push/tug YN 419, this week, the hull was launched.
Tolkamer 14th March 2006 – Today, De Hoop has delivered the vessel with the innovative “Cadillac bow” to her client Lueftner Reisen.
