			Launch of Amadeus Elegant Tolkamer, 1/3/2010 - Today the 110 meter river cruise vessel Amadeus Elegant was sucessfully launched from the newly created slipway in Tolkamer. The sunny weather really coplemented this day and due to the high water level on the river, the launch of the vessel was very "elegant".


			Again new order for De Hoop Tolkamer, 19/2/2010 - For the second time this week De Hoop is proudly announcing a new order. Luxury cruising company "Uniworld" has ordered a five star river cruise vessel (135x11.40) with a new design and some special features. The vessel is planned for delivery next year. 			De Hoop scores new order Tolkamer, 15/02/2010 - Shipyard De Hoop is proud to announce a new order from shipowner Royal Wagenborg. This time the yard shall build a 135 meter, three layer, 440 persons accomodation barge with ice class 1B. The barge is scheduled for delivery later this year.


			Amado Daniel departs from yard Tolkamer, 22/01/2010 - This morning, at 4:00 AM the 105 meter diving support vessel "Amado Daniel" has left the yard in Tolkamer to go to Rotterdam. As many larger ships build on this yard, it was this time also necessary to take of the wheelhouse so the vessel would be able to pass the bridges. The vessel now goes to our fitting out quay in Rotterdam where it will undergo the final stages of the build, before going to seatrials.


			Caballo Siete Leguas outside Foxhol, 10/01/2010 - The 67 meter PSV named Caballo Siete Leguas, our yardnumber 431, has been moved outside. The complete hull (all sections) is on the slipway where the final assembly of the vessel is taking place, making it ready for launching.


			Amadeus Elegant under construction Tolkamer, 29/12/2009 - The section block assembly of the 110 meter river cruise vessel Amadeus Elegant is well on its way. All but the last section blocks are assembled on the slibway in Tolkamer. This 8th vessel for Lueftner Reisen is scheduled for launching in Februari next year. 			De Hoop Lobith launches yardnumber 425 "Amado Daniel" Lobith 9/11/2009 - On this Monday, the 105 x 24 meter Diving Support Vessel "Amado Daniel" was launched successfully. 			De Hoop Foxhol launches Noordhoek Pathfinder Foxhol 7/11/2009 - This Saturday the vessel Noordhoek Pathfinder was first christened and then launched at exactly 11 AM at our yard in Foxhol. The ceremony was celebrated by all related companies to this project and also to the project "Noordhoek Constructor": Noordhoek Offshore, Hanzevast Shipping, Seatec, Shipyard De Hoop, Niigata Shipyards. 			Noordhoek Pathfinder ready for launching Foxhol 2/11/2009 - The 60 meter vessel "Noordhoek Pathfinder" shall be launched this Saturday (7/11/2009), 11 AM at our yard in Foxhol. On this day, the yard shall partially be open for all people who are interested to watch the launch.


			Keel laid for river cruise vessel 'Amadeus Elegant' Tolkamer 15/10/2009 - With the keellaying for yardnumber 439, the Amadeus Elegant, the build has started for yet another vessel at Shipyard De Hoop Lobith. The Amadeus Elegant is the 8th vessel De Hoop is building for Lueftner Reisen. 			Caballo As De Oros on seatrials Delfzijl, 12/10/2009 - After being transported from the yard (Foxhol) to Delfzijl last Friday, the vessel 'Caballo As De Oros' today had her first day out. The seatrials are expected to be finalized this week and after this the vessel will be ready for delivery and departure to the Mexican waters. Please look at the PDF file for some more photos. 			VERDI delivered Tolkamer, 09/10/2009 - Today, exactly 4 months after signing contract, the newbuild Accomodation Vessel VERDI has been delivered. The vessel is build for ROBORG (Wagenborg) and is intended to depart for Kazachstan after the weekend. Please look at the PDF file for an enlarged picture. Read PDF file


			Busy times in Foxhol Foxhol 8/10/2009 - These are busy times at our yard in Foxhol. Currenly the yard is working on five different vessels! The platform supply vessel with yardnumber 430 is about to leave for her seatrials. All other vessels are in various stages of production. 			Noordhoek Pathfinder assembled Foxhol, 29/09/2009 - During the last few days the last sections of the Noordhoek Pathfinder where placed at the De Hoop Foxhol. The vessel is really getting shape now and planning is well on time. Currenty the Foxhol yard is very busy as the organisation works on five different projects simultaniously. 			New shipbuilding contract for De Hoop Tolkamer 24/07/2009 - De Hoop proudly announces that her client Lueftner Reisen has again ordered a newbuild River Cruise Vessel from De Hoop. The 110 meter vessel is the 8th order from Lueftner Reisen. Earlier this year the Amadeus Diamond was delivered and the new concept now proofs to be successfull. The new vessel shall be build under yardnumber 439 and is scheduled for delivery in 2010.


			Second conversion for Wagenborg/Chevalier Floatels delivered Tolkamer 16/07/2009 - The second conversion after Debussy, the converted 110 meter "Ravel", was delevered today. This time the conversion included a full 'winterization' of the vessel. With this the vessel is suitable for the harsh conditions of the northern region of the Caspian Sea, where temperatures can drop to minus 40 degrees. The works included extra facilities and systems an ice-belt all around which makes the hull "ice-class 1B".


			DSV Niiagata yard in full production Niigata, 06/07/2009 - A 70 meter Diving Support Vessel is currently in full production on the Niigata shipyard in Japan. The vessel is being build for Dutch shipowner Hanzevast and has been engineered by De Hoop. Furthermore, De Hoop has supplied most equipment for this hi-tech vessel. Niigata shipyard (a subsidairy of the large Mitsui corporation) has a good reputation in the build of all kind of vessels. The interfirm cooperation with De Hoop started on this project when Noordhoek Offshore did an enquiry for a newbuild DSV with De Hoop. Due to a full orderbook, De Hoop has come to an agreement with Hanzevast and Niigata to build this vessel in Japan. The vessel called "Noordhoek Constructor" is ordered by Hanzevast Shipping and shall be chartered out to Noordhoek Offshore for works in the North Sea. 			Caballo as de Oros succesfully launched Foxhol, 27/06/2009 - Today at 10 AM the latest newbuild at De Hoop Foxhol has been succesfully launched. This 67 meter Platform Supply Vessel with yard number 430 - Caballo as de Oros - is build for Oceanografia SA, de CV. It is the first of a series of 2 similar vessels. The vessel is planned for delivery later this year and shall, upon arrival in Mexico, start working for Pemex.


			Second 105 mtr. DSV well on its way. Tolkamer 18/6/2009 - Yardnumber 425, the second diving support vessel in a series of three for client Oceanografia, is currently well on its way. 			New KISS design for a PSV Tolkamer 15/6/2009 - Shipyard De Hoop has, over the last half year, developed a completely new design for a 67 meter platform supply vessel. The "KISS" design is De Hoop's answer to the developments in recent years whereby more and more expensive vessels where delevoped for in fact the simple tasks which most supply vessels do. The KISS design goes more back to the basics, but using modern techniques it shall outperform most in this class. The developed hull shape has a 20% lower wave resistance (so it can do the same with less power and fuel costs) and has 30% more tank capacity than its nearest competitors. Currently De Hoop has several requests for such vessels and also the vessels 432, 433, 434 and 435 (on order by Oceanografia) shall be build according this design. 			3rd Conversion contracted Tolkamer 12/6/2009 - De Hoop has contracted a third conversion from an inland hull to an accomodation barge. This order is also placed by Roborg BV, an interfirm cooperation between Wagenborg and Chevalier Floatels. Again this is a special project as conversion of an empty newbuild hull for an inland container vessel, converted into a 320 person accomodation vessel, has to be delivered in less than 16 weeks from now. For this project, De Hoop has also a cooperation with "Holland Shipyards", where a sistervessel is ordered by Roborg BV for the same delivery time.

			Yardnumber 430 - Caballo as de Oros ready for launching Foxhol 30/5/2009 - The 67 meter platform supply vessel 'Caballo as de Oros' is now completely assembled. De Hoop Foxhol is currently also building a sister- vessel of this PSV and thereafter, a series of four new designs is planned. All six vessels are build for Mexican shipowner Oceanografia. Currently the 'Caballo as de Oros' is ready for launching.


			Converted Accomodation Barge delivered Tolkamer 12/5/2009 - Exactly 11 weeks after the order, De Hoop has delivered the former vessel "Debussy", fully converted to a 290 pax. accomodation barge. The vessel "Ravel" has in the mean time some extra works. This vessel shall be winterized as well, which means also an "ice belt" shall be installed around the full length of the vessel.


			Conversion of two River Cruise Vessels Tolkamer 29/4/2009 - During the last few weeks De Hoop Lobith has started works for the clients Wagenborg and Chevalier Floatels, who have ordered a complete conversion of two River Cruise Vessels. The cruisers will be transformed into accomodation vessels for Kazachstan (Caspian Sea) where they shall accomodate 290 persons eacht. These 110 meter vessels, formerly known as 'Debussy' and 'Ravel' where originally build by De Hoop in 2000 and 2001. Besides a complete internal refit, the conversions includes a topdeck full of containerized for extra installations as genset, watermaker, laundry, incinerator, etc.


			Amadeus Diamond delivered Foxhol 24/3/2009 - Today, De Hoop has delivered the Amadeus Diamond. This 110 meter River Cruise Vessel is the 7th vessel ordered by Lueftner Reisen. This time the innovative item is the foldable nose-section. Furthermore the vessel is build to the usual high standard. Also please see the attatched PDF file. Read PDF file


			Coming out of the Caballo as de Oros Foxhol 21/3/2009 - The build of River Cruise Vessel yardnumber 428 is still on the go, but next vessel, Caballo as de Oros is coming out of the shipbuilding hall. The assembly is well on its way.


			105 meter DSV Don Amado delivered Rotterdam 24/12/2008 - The vessel Don Amado has departed for Mexico. This special vessel with its 300 tons Liebherr crane and accomodation for 250 people shall be used by client Oceanografia to work for PEMEX. Please see the attatched PDF-file for further information. 			Foxhol launches the Amadeus Diamond Foxhol 13-12-2008 - With the launch of the Amadeus Diamond, De Hoop Foxhol has build her second vessel since the takeover last year. The vessel is on schedule for delivery in March next year.


			Hanzevast Shipping contracts Offshore Support Vessel from De Hoop Tolkamer 14/10/2008 - Financer 'Hanzevast Shipping' has ordered a 60 meter offshore support vessel, who they in return shall charter out to Dutch shipowner Noordhoek. The vessel is designed for operations in the North Sea and is planned for delivery in May 2010.


			Delivery of yardnumber 423, the Caballo Criollo Rotterdam 8/7/2008 - The delivery of the 60 meter offshore support vessel "Caballo Criollo" was spectated by quite a few people as the flagging ceremony was conducted by the Mexican ambassador. The vessel is now on her way to Mexico and shall start working for PEMEX upon arrival.


			De Hoop wins an engineering order for Niigata Shipyard Tolkamer 7/3/2008 - Niigata has awarded De Hoop with an engineering assignment for a 77 meter Diving Support Vessel. This vessel, in its return, is build for Dutch shipowner Hanzevast Shipping, who shall charter the vessel to Noordhoek Offshore. Besides the engineering De Hoop shall also deliver most of the large components and installations to this Japanese Shipyard. The vessel is scheduled for delivery in 2009.


			Launching of the Caballo Lusitano Foxhol 31/5/2008 - Today the launching ceremony took place of the first vessel build at De Hoop Foxhol BV since the takeover august last year. Yardnumber 426, the 60 meter platform supply vessel 'Caballo Lusitano' is well on schedule and to see such a vessel at the Windschoterdiep is a very refreshing sight as yards in this area mostly build dry bulk carriers and container vessels.


			Oceanografia orders six PSV's from De Hoop Tolkamer 19/2/2008 - The Mexican offshore contractor Oceanografia SA, de CV has placed an order for six platform supply vessels. The vessels shall be a 6 meter longer sister vessel of yard number 426, the Caballo Lusitano. The two first vessels, yardnumbers 430 and 431 shall be executed as a normal PSV and the 4 other vessels (yard numbers 432/433/434/435) shall be executed with an additional mudplant on deck. The last vessel is sheduled for delivery in 2012.


			De Hoop contracts 3rd Diving Support Vessel Tolkamer 26/1/2008 - Shipyard De Hoop has won the third order for a 105 x 24 meter Diving Support Vessel, similar to the yardnumbers 424 and 425, from client Oceanografia SA, de CV. The vessel is scheduled for delivery end 2010.


			Bourbon Trieste Launched Tolkamer, 3th June 2007 - Today yard number 422, the Multi Purpose Offshore Service Vessel (MPSV) Bourbon Trieste was succesfully launched. Another milestone in this newbuild programm has been reached.


			De Hoop gets engineering assignment De Hoop has won an engineering assignment for a SEMI Submersible suitable for maintenance and construction work and capable to facilitate accomodation for 450 people. Read PDF file


			Yn 422 Almost ready for launch Tolkamer 30/5/2007 - The build program of the vessel "Bourbon Trieste" well on its way and is nearing the stage "ready for launch". Already the Lobith yard has progressed on the sections for the next vessel, YN 423. These are busy times in shipbuilding.


			Takeover of Foxhol yard April 2007 - De Hoop and Volharding Shipyards have reached a final agreement concerning the takeover the yard in Foxhol. The said yard is a welcome addition and enables De Hoop to boost capacity for shipbuilding in the Netherlands. From the 6th August 2007 onwards Scheepswerf De Hoop Foxhol BV shall start production at this location in Groningen, The Netherlands. (look at the PDF file for an enlarged photo) Read PDF file


			New Orders April 23, 2007 - Today, De Hoop has hoisted two more flags, which means the orders for Yard number 425 (a sister vessel of YN 424, a 105 mtr. DSV) and Yard Number 426 (a 62 mtr. OSV) are announced.


			Next generation visits De Hoop Tolkamer 27/3/2007 - Today, some 30 VMBO students visited Shipyard De Hoop. As these people shall choose their carreer in the near future, we hope some of them are interested in shipbuilding. Look at "read PDF file for more photos". Read PDF file


			River Discovery delivered. 8-3-2007 - Today Shipyard De Hoop has succesfully delivered the 125 mtr. vessel River Discovery. This vessel is the second one with the cadillac bow and the fourth vessel built for Vantage Travel. CLick on "see PDF file" for an enlarged photo. Read PDF file


			De Hoop contracts newbuild YN 424 We are proud to announce another yard number. This 105 x 24 mtr. Diving Support Vessel shall be build for the Mexican shipowner Oceanografia. The vessel shall have accomodation for 250 people and shall be equipped with a 300 ton crane.


			PRINCESS in the news Since her delivery, the Amadeus Princess has had quite some publicity. The vessel was recently in the "Schip & Werf" and this month she features in the "Cruise and Ferry". Look at the PDF-file to view this article. Read PDF file

			Job Opportunities at Shipyard De Hoop September 2006 - Because of a filled orderbook and good prospects for the near future, De Hoop currently has various job opportunities for shipbuilders (metal workers, pipefitters, welders, carpenters, crane driver, etc.) with the right mentality. 			YN 419/420 ISKANDER and ALPAMYS delivered Rotterdam 25-07-2006, Today the ice class tugboats ISKANDER and ALPAMYS where delivered succesfully. Both Yard and Shipowner are proud of the result and look back on a succesful build period. The vessels will soon head for Kazachstan.


			Flag hoisting for YN 423 Tolkamer 7 July 2006 - With the flag hoisting ceremony, Shipyard De Hoop has started the works on the new Mexican order.


			Yard Trials for ISKANDER Today, 4th July 2006, the first tugboat YN 419, called ISKANDER for Kazachstan successfully completed her trials.


			New Order from Mexico De Hoop has the pleasure to announce a new order. The new Offshore support vessel will be build under yard number 423.


			Start production YN 422 Tolkamer 2/6/2006 - Today the steelcutting of yard number 422, the MPSV for Groupe Bourbon has started.


			Yard Number 421 in full production The production of yard number 421 is on full swing. The keellaying took place on last month, 12th May, and now on the 1st June already 9 sections are assembled.


			YN 420 Launched 10.05.2006 - Today yard number 420 was launched.


			YN 420 Ready for launch Monday 8-5-2006 - In a record time of less than 4 weeks (!) after keellaying, the ICE class push/tugboat YN420 is now ready for launch.


			Newbuild for BOURBON May 2006 - Shipyard De Hoop is proud to announce that BOURBON has ordered a new 85 m. Multi Purpose Offshore Supplier (MPSV). The vessel will have accomodation for 70 people, a 100 ton crane and will be build under yard number 422.


			Keellaying ceremony YN 420 Monday 10-04-2006 - Today the keel of the shallow draft push/tugboat Alpamys (YN 420) was laid. Another milestone in this project has been reached.


			YN 419 Launched 3th April 2006 - Shipyard De Hoop is on full swing. Recently the keel was laid of the shallow draft push/tug YN 419, this week, the hull was launched.


			NB411 - Amadeus Princess delivered Tolkamer 14th March 2006 - Today, De Hoop has delivered the vessel with the innovative "Cadillac bow" to her client Lueftner Reisen.


			Keel YN 419 is laid On wednesday the 22nd February the first section of YN 419 was placed on the slipway.


			Order for 125m River Cruiser Lobith 23-12-2005, today the American shipowner Vantage Travel has ordered a 125m River Cruiser, to be delivered in March 2007. With this order, Vantage again shows her confidence in Shipyard De Hoop.


			Amadeus Princess Launched Thursday 8 Dec. 05 - Today the vessel "Amadeus Princess" with yardnumber 411 was launched. For the first time spectators could see the innovative "Cadillac" bow in the water. With this bow, the vessel has approximately 10% more effective space inside.


			Two new orders YN 419 and 420 December 2005 - Shipyard De Hoop has contracted two shallow draft tugboats for the Caspian Sea.


			YN 402 nominated for 'Ship of the Year' Tuesday 14th of June' 05, Shipyard De Hoop recieved from the KNVTS the official nomination of the most innovative ship of the year 2004. This for the 'Breuil' YN 402 (hence also for sistership YN 403 'Brion') both developed for the transport of components for the new Airbus A380 airplane.


			New Order for River Cruiser April 2005 - A new order (YN 411) was placed on the day of the delivery of the Amadeus Royal. With this new order, client Lueftner Reisen again shows her confidence in our yard!


			Engineering 1700 TEU April 2005 - De Hoop has sold an engineering package for 1700 TEU open top containerships to Wagenborg Shipping who intends to build a series of these Vessels. The dutch IHC group (Kinderdijk) is selected to build the first vessel.


			Christening YN 408 The passenger ship Amadeus Royal (YN 408)was christened at the yard in Lobith, on Thursday the 24th of March 2005, in the week thereafter it sucessfully left on its maiden-voyage with 150 passengers.


			De Hoop delivers the 'Brion' Today, 22-11-2004 Shipyard De Hoop has successfully delivered the vessel Brion (newbuilding 403) to the organisation SOCATRA. The semi-sub Brion is designed with adjustable cargo-decks to carry large aircraft components across the French coast and inland waters and can cope with shallow waters as well as low bridges.


			Worldpremiere on the Rheinenergie The catamaran theatre-ship Rheinenergie (Yardnumber 404) was built for the German operator Koln-Dusseldorfer and was delivered in June this year. On 21 Oktober 2004, this theatre ship has succesfully launched its first big show "Ganymee on Water" (more information on www.ganymee.com)


			Celia Candies Newbuilding 137 / Celia Candies , which is currently built at our location in Houma, is nearing its transverse launching.


			Vissolela The multi purpose supplier 'Vissolela' (yard number 393) has been delivered on June 30th 2004 in Rotterdam. The vessel has already started her activities in the oil fields of Angola, Africa.


			Algarve Cruiser This cruise vessel is designed for coastal areas as well as inland water and is currently under construction at Scheepswerf De Hoop. For more information please contact us.
