Tolkamer, 27/03/2026 – Today the refit of the iconic CRN YACHTS “Firenze” has commenced a new phase. Two impressive 700 ton cranes from Sarens were necessary to take her out of the water. In the next months the refit – which is actually more a rebuild – shall take place on the fitting out quay of Shipyard De Hoop. This shall bring the yacht into the future. As the owner commented “This is more than a makeover, it is quite satisfactory that we are now able to complete the refit of this legendary ship on such a legendary shipyard. De Hoop brings very practical knowledge as well as sufficient experience with building high-end luxury vessels to the table.” Over the next months Firenze shall be fitted out and finished with quite a few upgrades. With this, she shall be ‘lifted’ to a higher modern standard and with some of the latest technologies, including an AI supported yacht management system.
